The 1st April 2008 will go down as an important date in our company’s history since it marks the launch of our new range of interlocking products, an event that we told you about in our newsletter last September.

for the dams of DOURO
Since the Profalux Serrues and Ronis Protec products were merged in 1993, very few changes have been made to our existing products, whose design is fairly traditional.
Responding to our partners and customers’ increasing demand for certain criteria such as reduced lead times, RHOS conformity or standardisation between the two product ranges, we decided three years ago to review the whole interlocking range under the codename of « NOGAPI ».
After prolonged consultation with our partners, we have finally finished the project and are pleased to be able to offer you the benefits of our new product range.
This range is available from today ; the first orders have been placed and will be delivered in April. One of our partners even anticipated their requirements and received the first products from their order in March.
A few products are still available from the old product ranges, but they will disappear very quickly in the second quarter of 2008.
Of course, in terms of replacing existing products, a few modifications will have to be made and these will be carried out easily, in light of the fact that our partners have studied the adaptation kits necessary for these changes.
Just like you, we need to get used to the new references and our whole team is available to help you.
In partnership with FPB Solutions from Leca Do Balio in Portugal, HF Securite has supplied safety interlocking systems for renovation work being carried out on electrical machinery on several dams on the DOURO river.
The DOURO is the third biggest river in the Iberian Peninsula. It rises in Spain and flows into the Atlantic 850 km later in the wonderful town of PORTO.
The DOURO is the perfect river for hydroelectric installations and experienced the largest energy programme in Europe in the 50s. A lot of dams were built at that time such as : the Paradela/Castro, Miranda, Bemposta (photo above), Picote…
A great deal of renovation work is underway on the DOURO’s hydroelectric power stations for which, at the request of EDP, FPB Solutions is installing HF Securite’s interlocking systems, guaranteeing the safety of workers.

of SAIH RAWL in the Sultanate of OMAN
HF Securite has supplied safety interlocking systems for the new “SAIH RAWL GAS FACILITIES UPGRADATION” project, relating to the extension and connection work on the installations at the SAIH RAWL site in the Sultanate of Oman. These works concern convertors for pump piloting.

to all of the FPS team which has just been awarded ISO 9001 – 2000 CERTIFICATION by the AFAQ.
In 2006, the initial project was a major compression project at the Saih Rawl gas field and encompassed the construction of a 120-megawatt power station, a modern plant containing four electric gas-compression trains, and the installation of a power distribution system connecting the Saih Rawl area with Qarn Alam and Saih Nihayda.
